Review: As always William Joyce has used is unique talent of spinning words to teach young ones about colors. Rolie Polie is a favorite of my 18 month old and we have to read this particular book 2 or 3 times at bedtime. William Joyce's choice of wording and illustrations make this book fun for the child and the parent reading it!

Review: My 20 month old really enjoyed this book--he's a big Olie fan. It's short and repetitive, which is exactly what toddlers like (and need). It's intended for one year and up. The colors are vivid and so this book is a great early teaching tool, but keep in mind that toddlers can really only learn one color at a time, so trying to get your child to repeat what color is on each page might be discouraging for you and frustrating for the kid! As a parent, I am grateful for very short board books, since my children are going to ask me to read it about ten times in a row. This fits the bill perfectly and should be pleasing to Olie fans and kids who just like stories.

Review: My daughter is a huge Olie fan, and she's only 9 mo. old. She loves this book, and we love reading it to her and showing her all the different colors!!

Review: My son is 3 and loves this book. The bright pictures and great prose is fun and a wonderful way for little ones to learn. Each night it is almost like playing a game together before bed!!!
