Summary: Rebel is an inspiration!
Review: Rebel is an excellent book for children who lack self-confidence or for children who are often bullied at school. It was a source of strength for me, and I am a far cry from a young child. While providing inspiration, Rebel also teaches your child about the history of a different culture; cultural diversity is a must in current education.Baillie has done an excellent job of communicating the strength of perseverance and togetherness in the face of opposition. Diane Wu has provide beautiful illustrations (possibly watercolor) that bring the words of the story to life!
