Rating: Summary: cool title, good book, but it was too dramatic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: A new racehorse called Gallant Prince comes to Heartland to be cured of the emotional trauma he went through. Prince used to be a famous champion racehorse but then there was a fire at the stables where he is kept, and it deeply affects his mind because now he won't let anyone near him, he doesn't trust anyone (or anything), and he basically acts like a vicious, wild horse. Amy agrees to take Prince in and tries to help the stallion face his fears but she feels like she isn't getting anywhere, the wounds the horse has are too deep for her to reach. She is seriously ready to give up because her grandfather is concerned for her safety and wants to send Prince back to his own stable, but Amy doesn't want Heartland receiving bad publicity. She finally locates Prince's old groom, Ryan Bailey, who was badly burned in the stables where Prince was kept and was blamed for starting the fire. Amy finds out that Prince and Ryan had a special bond and she is determined to bring them together again so they can help heal each other. But Ryan has been badly traumatized too and he refuses to even leave the darkness of his room. Amy knows Ryan and Prince need each other, but the problem is how to convince Ryan? Besides Prince, Amy has to face the fact Daybreak is ready to leave Heartland and be rehomed but she can't bear to let go of the filly so soon. Ty keeps telling her she's ready to go and move on, but hes really referring to the kiss he gave her on Christmas Eve. Things are sorta weird between Ty and Amy but nothing much happens... All in all, the book was a little too dramatic but add it to your heartland collection anyway if you're a fan of heartland
Rating: Summary: GREAT BOOK IF A HORSE LOVER!!!!!!!! Review: Heartland, has entertained me from the beginning but, this one really didn't. Amy is given a new horse, Gallent Prince, but when she can't cure him from the fires of a stable, that he has been emotionally harmed by, she doubts if she can handle it. But when she learns about his old owner, Ryan, she realizes he's the only one that can help Prince heal. But when Ryan is too depressed to come, Amy has desperate fear for Prince. Read to find out what Amy will do for Prince and Ryan! You will probably like it if you liked the rest of the series! Remember, anything can happen at Heartland.
Rating: Summary: Out of the Darkness Review: I just love this book! It is my favorite in the series. I just enjoyed how she helped both the horse and the trainer out of their tragic past.To see what is in store for them if they just let go! I enjoyed it so much I read it in one day!
Rating: Summary: not one of the best books from Heartland Review: I liked this book but it was not one of the best ones. Amy Flaming runs a farm called heartland she heals the scars of emotionally injured horses. But when Prince Gallant comes to heartland Amy simply can't pull him out of his darkness. The stallion fears everyone and everything. But when amy finds out that prince's old stable hand Ryan is going thourgh the same pain she knows that he is the only one who can reach Prince. For horse lovers everywhere Out of the darkness is an emotional exciting book that display the relationship of a human and horse working together even in times where everything seems losted.
Rating: Summary: It was OK Review: I LOVE the heartland seris but I have to tell you the truth, this isn't one of my favorites. In this book Amy has trouble to reach a horse! Yes, the horses name is Gallant Prince and he stays in the back of his stall, eyes blazing with fire. Gallant Prince had been caught in a barn fire and even though he was once a champion horse to ride now he is uncontrolable! Amy had tried everything with Gallant Prince ~ T-Touch, Join Up, and herbs. But still Gallant Prince was hard to reach. Amy can't bear the fact that maybe Gallant Prince would be the first horse that Heartland wouldn't be able to lead out of darkness *** And if that wasn't enough, Ty one of Heartland's Stable hands has been closed to Amy but in Heartland book #6 One day You'll know Amy and Ty kiss. Now they can barely talk to each other '_' *** Than Amy learns that before the barn fire Gallant Prince was very close to a guy named Ryan Bailey. Ryan and Prince had been great friends but people had said that Ryan caused the Barn Fire and he had left the stables in which Prince lives at... will Amy beable to convince Ryan to help her before it's too late? Find out by reading this book!
Rating: Summary: Great! Review: I think the book was great! Amy is trying to help a race horse named Gallant Prince who was caught in a fire. Ever since the fire, nobody has been able to get near Prince so they send him to Heartland. After lots of working with Prince and having no success, Amy decides to contact the old stable Hand that used to work at the Stable where Prince lives. He and Prince had a very speacial bond with each other and Amy Thinks he will be able to help. Well, I wont say anything more because I mite give away what happens at the end. By the way, for all the people who were expecting this book to be alot about Amy and Ty's relationship, well, the book was more about the horses than Ty.
Rating: Summary: not one of the best books from Heartland Review: My daughter, a thirteen year old equestrian and voracious reader whose tastes run the gamut from Judy Bloom to Tolkien and all points in between, has devoured the entire Heartland series this past month. This excellent series contains suprisingly tight and descriptive prose conveying clear action packed narratives which possess good morals and interesting characters. Imaginative and age appropriate, Lauren Brooke's series supplies great entertainment for any active middle school reader. While they are certainly written directly for a female middle school audience, this late thirty something year old dad, whose literary tastes favor histories and biographies, has found this particular series quite entertaining in a pleasantly guilt free manner.
