Rating: Summary: Great book for babies! Review: I like this word book a lot, because there is only one picture and word per page. Many word books have too many things on one page which makes the page appear cluttered and busy especially for babies and toddlers. By having only one word and picture per page, young readers are able to focus on the page more clearly and understand what they are being shown. Also, the colors in this book are vibrant and inviting. The author does a good job of introducing words that a baby sees in everyday life. It is an excellent book to introduce your child to new words.
Rating: Summary: A Perfect Book Review: I ordered this book for my son. He absolutely loves it! He brings it to me every night so we can read it together. He knows ball, cat, dog (sometimes known as woo, woo)and even plane. It is perfect when children first start to put words together. I love all the books by Yves Got. My son learns a great deal from them.

Rating: Summary: She has literally loved it to pieces!! Review: My daughter is now 18 months old. We bought this book when she was just over a year old. It was exactly what I was looking for - one picture, one word per page. I was worried because it wasn't a board book, but my little girl was so interested in it I relented and let her look at it independently. She's done very well, but she loves it so much it is falling apart! I'm sure this book has increased her vocabulary greatly and I can't recommend it enough!!!
Rating: Summary: Sam loves it! Review: My daughter Sam absolutely loves this book! I thought it would be too long and would not hold her attention, but it's great! She enjoys flipping through the pages, and with so many pages to flip through it holds her attention longer than other, shorter books. The pages are surprisingly sturdy too.
Rating: Summary: The best vocabulary book for babies! Review: My son has learned to talk from this book! What I like most is that there is only one word and picture per page, which keeps their attention. The pictures are adorable! Plus the words are of everyday objects in your house. It is one of the few books that my son will sit still on my lap and read with me, and it's over 100 pages! It's his hands down favorite!
Rating: Summary: A must for Sams and non-Sams alike Review: This book is great! We got it when our son, Sam, was first born and it was thrilling to see how he progressed through the book over time until he could name every picture. I love the concept on having only one picture on each page which sounds boring but is exactly what those budding minds need.
This is a great book for young children who aren't yet into books or won't sit through a story. The simplicity of the concept keeps them occupied. I only wish it came in a board book format, though that would probably require much fewer pages.
Rating: Summary: So fun and real life application Review: This is a great book for youngster associating words with pictures. Fun to read with youngsters!
Rating: Summary: One of my 1-year-old son's favorites! Review: We got this book as a gift. I thought it was an awful lot of pages for a 1-year-old, and it's not a board book. But it's among my son's top 5 favorite books, and it's proven to be quite sturdy. With just one picture per page, it's very easy for him to focus and learn while we read together. He especially loves the animal section at the end.
Rating: Summary: Great book for babies on up to beginning readers Review: When our son was a baby, he loved to have us read this to him. Once he began talking he loved to "read" it to us - identifying the name of each item from the picture. Now we use it to identify letter sounds. You can't beat that for value!
