Summary: A Homey approach to Christianity.
Review: There are lots of books out there which some say "..is a must read for every Christian," assuming, of course, that you are. And there are plenty of books out there that can be "life changing," if you decide to apply the truths within. Of course, the Bible is the supreme example. And if every person who claims to be a Christian applied those truths, we'd have a different world today.This little book is touted as "one of the most beloved works of Christian literature for the past 50 years." Apparently it has 10 million copies in circulation, and based on a previous observation, it doesn't appear that the 10 million copies which are in the possession of believers in Christ has exacted any lasting impact on our society, or at least not yet. One can still hope. Please don't get me wrong, now. I did enjoy the book, and it was an interesting read to observe how Christ could come into every room of one's home (the analogy of one's life), and virtually change everything so that He could become Lord, and that's the essence of this book. It would even work for a person who lived in a one room apartment, and maybe even a shack or a cardboard box, I suppose. In any event, it's a nice little book. Read it, and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
