Rating: Summary: Great idea but..... Review: I love the concept of this pop-up Farm, the design is adorable. However, my 3 year old, who is extremely gentle with her things, has accidently ripped many of the parts & pieces. It is not built that well! I keep a glue stick with me every time she plays with it, which is daily. The cut outs of Maisy & her buddies are very cute.
Rating: Summary: 2 1/2 year old's favorite Review: Maisy's Pop Up Farmhouse is by far my 2 1/2 year old daughter's favorite toy. We first bought Maisy's Pop Up Playhouse after playing with it at a cousin's house. The Playhouse is wonderful and my daughter adored it, but then we found the Farmhouse, which hands down beats the Playhouse anyday. I think the main difference for her is that the Farmhouse includes all of Maisy's friends, Tallulah, Charlie, and Cyril plus lots and lots of farm animals both big and small (the Playhouse only has Maisy and Panda). This is as much fun as a dollhouse and for the money its a no brainer for any fan of Maisy or even just a child who loves animals. In fact it would even be my pick as a great gift to introduce any child to Maisy's wonderful world. The only downside is that its made of cardboard, which doesn't make it very durable. We've already had a few accidents with our young neice crashing into it - but easy to repair with just a little tape. Plus its so reasonably priced, if its truly destroyed it is easily replaced.
Rating: Summary: Hours of fun and imagination for Maisy fans Review: My two year-old LOVES this book/playset! Even though it's made of cardboard, it's really quite sturdy as she is very hard on books and has only torn the stable thus far. I could not really get the Maisy character figures to properly stand on their paper props but my daughter couldn't care less. She discovers new details on the farm every day, from the bats hanging in the stable to the water faucet behind the dutch doors. She just loves this toy and lugs the whole thing from room to room along with all the little cardboard pieces.
Rating: Summary: Great idea but..... Review: This book opens out to form a pop up farm scene - complete with vegetable garden, barn, stables etc. All the peices that you use to tell your own story need to pressed out of a thin card before you start, but there are lots of surprised hidden amongst the walls of the pop-up to discover for yourself. A small book is also included. I was really surprised. Although only made of thin card, it is actually proving to be more durable than I thought ... my girls (4 and almost 3) are so careful with it as they make the characters and animals "walk" around, visiting each other, doing farm chores. And they spend half an hour or more at a time completely engrossed this thier role play. It helps that Maisy is one of their favourite characters in books and videos and this gives them a chance to tell the Maisy adventure they want to dream up! Great way to get them to tell you a story. Highly recommended.

Rating: Summary: great (portable) fun for little Maisy and/or farm fans Review: We bought this farm pop-up after having purchased and enjoyed the Maisy Pop-Up Playhouse. Both have their charms. The farm has fewer nooks and crannies to hold items but the objects themselves are just as clever, and Maisy's friends Talleulah, Cyril, Charlie and Eddie are here on the farm. This is a terrific value -- a charming fold-out setup, creatively designed and with lots of hidden surprises and fun accessories. Your preschooler boy or girl will have hours of low-tech fun playing with Maisy and her friends as they tend to the garden, feed the animals and play on the tractor. A mini-book relates Maisy's busy day on the farm, and three pages of punch-out accessories include character props, animals, food and farm tools. The cardboard props don't really hold the characters up, and the thin material is liable to tear, but pieces are easily taped and this low-tech setup fosters hours of imaginative play. Charming.
