Review: A wonderful and fun tale of Phillipe the frog who escapes the frog catchers and finds a home in the famous artists garden. A great introduction of Monet for children. The rhyming text is fun. My kids love it. The illustrations are beautiful and done in the artists own style.

Summary: We love this book!
Review: I love to read to my daughter and this book is her favorite and mine. It's a wonderful story and is fun and easy to read out-loud. My daughter is almost one year old and although she may not understand the story, I know she enjoys it! She has a frog stuffed animal that she plays with while we read. It's a fun book and we both love it. I only wish it came in a board book version so she could play with it without ripping any pages!

When he comes to Monet's garden, he finds a compassionate artist who charishes the lives of all that are in his garden. After being teased by his fellow frogs, Phillipe finds great comfort in the safety of the garden. It is a great book to introduce the artist, Monet, and to reinforce the idea that children should be kind and loving to one and all.
