Summary: A Magical Christmas
Review: Although this book is intended for the 12-year-old set, it also appeals to older (though not TOO much older) readers.
The story of twin girls whisked away to a fantasy land and forced to help twin pinces fight off an evil Wizard is, admittedly, farfetched from a series that's never delved into fantasy before, but still very captivating.

Summary: Truly inspirational
Review: I probably first read this book 6 or 7 years ago, but I make a point of reading it every year since then around Christmas time. I'm 19 now, and I still find this book extremely entertaining. When I was 12, this book inspired me to write a fantasy book. I'm still working on revising it to this day. I would recommend The Magic Christmas not only to Sweet Valley fans, but also to any fan of magic or fantasy.

Summary: Just Awesome
Review: I still remember the excitement when I first read this book over 8 years ago. And I still feel so thankful to the friend who recommended it! It's a great book, for people of all ages. The twin sisters get transported to this magical world with amazing creatures and astonishing landscapes, each is seperate from the other but is accompanied by a prince, together they are racing towards the castle, where an evil lord awaits them. If you crave for fantasy adventures, this is definitely the one for you. I still wonder why it's not been turned into a movie... I am damn sure it'll give 'Lord of the Rings' a run for it money!!!

Summary: Even when I've outgrown Sweet Valley...
Review: This is one of those books that you would think I would retire. I'm almost 21, a literature major, but yet I can't part with this one Sweet Valley book. This is one of the only books I could read twice in one day and still love. I've read it so many times, and it is one of my favorite books. Unfortunately it's out of print, but fortunately I still have my copy. This is seriously one of the best books I've ever read, even though it is geared towards elementary school kids. I make a point of it to read it at least once a year. It is a magical tale... magic in the genre (which is pretty much fantasy), and magic in the way it makes me feel (all warm and tingley inside) and magic in the values it has molded upon me. Jessica and Elizabeth, the famed twins, try to (unknowingly) show off to one another for their Christmas gifts... Elizabeth writes Jessica a story about a memory that she has, and Jessica actually saves money to take Elizabeth to a concert. When Jessica doesn't appreciate the story and Elizabeth cannot make a concert, they get into a huge fight. Christmas eve, they're given two dolls that belonged to their great-aunts that contain a riddle. The twins (through a magic of some sort...) solve the riddle at the same time, and ...

Summary: A Magical Journey
Review: When Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield give each other perfect present for each other, they argue about who is being selfish. This leads to the dolls.
To help stop arguing, their grandparents give them twins dolls! Dolls are for babies, the think. Then when they solve a riddle, magic unfolds. An evil sorcerer and two princes are the main focus. Will the twins ever get back to Sweet Valley? And more important - will they ever see each other again?
