Pass the Poetry, Please!

Review: This was such an amazing book. As a teacher-in-training, after reading this book, I am so excited about teaching a genre that I have so much difficulty with. I wish my elementary school teachers had this book available to them. After the sections talking about how important poetry is in a child's life, the section on biographies are so useful, which have detailed info about some books by that author. The activities didn't seem very interesting. Because I plan to buy this book, I will mainly use it as a buying guide for poetry books for my classroom.
