Review: I am thrilled that after all the wonderful gifts of love and wisdom that Bernie Siegel has shared in his books with the adult world, that now children will have an inspiring roadmap to happiness just for them.As a veterinarian I greatly appreciate the special role animals play in Bernie's life, and his love for them comes through beautifully in his writing and superb illustrations. This book teaches children to always look for the gems in life no matter what the challenge, which I consider a profoundly important lesson whether your a kid or kid at heart!!
