Summary: Wonderful book
Review: I thought this book was one of the worst books i ever have read in my entire life. There is no point to it. It is also one of the slowest books and the story didn't go anywhere. The characters are as well terrible. Overal the book [stank]!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A great read
Review: I'm not much into these sappy books. Ya know what I'm talking about, Agatha Christie and those other ones. You know, all the girls in school are reading books like that, yaa... I ended up reading this because a friend lent it to me. I was instantly hooked. This book has an excellent depiction of how people feel in situations like this. I think one of the major reasons I liked it so much was because something similar happened to my grandmother just last year.

I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Old or young, male or female. Its is a great book, ENJOY!

Summary: Wonderful book
Review: I've read many books of lurlene mcdaniel and they were all great. This was also a great book, they're all tear jekers though I cry reading almst all of them including this one it was very sad. It's about these sisters and when they have this party after there dance performance, and when they run out of sodas and amy goes to go get some she gets into an accident her older sister erin thinks nothing of it cause amys always late. But aftera few hours she begins to get worried and learns her sister was in an accident and after about a month they pronounce her brain dead but erin keeps hope and learns that amys boyfriend is totally forgetting abut her erin gets upset and confronts him. When finally they take amy into surgery to remove her organs. It tells about a story of how the family grieves over a person they greatly loved. A GREAT BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Somewhere Between Life and Death
Review: If you have ever wanted to read a book about tragic deaths read,Somewhere Between Life and Death. One of the characters in the book was dying and her sister had to decide in whether she wanted to donate one of her sisters organs. A girl named Amy, died one night when it was raining and pouring and she went out to get sodas for a dance party that a teacher was having one night. She went out and didnt return. Her sister became worried about her. She called around and her house helper told her that her sister was in the hospital. She went to visit her sister in the hospital and found out that she was in a coma. Amy was living only by machines because they pronounced her brain dead. Her sister Erin, had to decide whether she wanted her sisters organs donated because her mother and her father had already agreed on it.
This book was a very good source of information. It talked about comas and the type of treatments that are available for comas. You will learn a lot about comas and learning makes the book interesting. The only thing that was problematic in the book was when the Character, Travis,Amys boyfriend, turned on Erin and Amy. After Amy had been in a coma, he visited her once and never came back to visit her.In the beginning he acted as a nice, joyful, and fun person to be with. He acted as if he enjoyed the time he spent with Amy. Then all of a sudden Amy gets in a accident and he just doesnt care anymore. It was a great shift in the story that was very unnecessary. Doing things like that can throw a reader off track.

Summary: Great!
Review: It was an excellent book. I loved it! It was my first Lurlene McDaniel book, and it inspired me to read more of her books.I also love sad endings because none of those happy endings are real.

Summary: Nothing to be proud of
Review: This book is one of the most annoying books I've ever read. It's about two sisters, Amy and Erin. Amy is in a car accident and is in a coma. Erin, the annoying older sister, spends the entire book trying to convince herself that Amy is okay. Talk about denial. McDaniel herself and her characters have to face reality. Amy is comatose. She is not okay! Anyway, the family has to decide whether or not to donate Amy's organs after she becomes brain-dead. I disliked this book because i was boring. It "went nowhere very slowly." The characters were annoying and not well developed. Erin in particular bothered me because she seemed so naive and hopeful. I felt like giving her a good shake and yelling, "Your sister is gone! Get over it!" I do not recommend this book for anyone, because I cannot understand why anyone would enjoy it.

Summary: Not Her Best
Review: This is the first Lurlene McDaniel book I read and I loved it. Now that I have read others I feel that it is not her best. The book deals more with the healthy sister than the dying one. There also isn't much detail about how bad she really is. Overall, a good start but keep on going.
