Rating: Summary: More Max & Ruby Review: Max gets made over by Ruby and her friend Louise. When Ruby and Louise gets distracted, Max decides its his turn to have fun! This book may be called "Ruby's Beauty Shop", but for me, the hero is always Max. If you're a Max and Ruby fan looking for another Max and Ruby book, you'll find this book to be a lot of fun. Rosemary Wells avoids falling into a formula with this new book showing Ruby playing pretend with a friend.

Rating: Summary: Just gorgeous! Review: My 3 yr old and 4 year old took instantly to this book --especially Max's iconoclastic take on how to play beauty shop "his way" and the blonde bombshell wig. Grandma always makes a wise choice at the end of these stories, but the real fun is in the illustrations, the expressions on the bunnies' faces, and Rosemary Wells' understated sense of humor. The whole series is fun for the kids and even the adults who have to read the story to them nightly. Both kids are enchanted and now playing "beauty shop" is a standard pastime for them. If you like this one, you'll also enjoy Bunny Party and Bunny Money.

Enter brother Max, who becomes the guinea pig in their experiments. True to Max form, however, he decides to play Beauty Shop his way - with revolutionary results.
