Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Celebrate Non-carnivores!
Review: This book is definately written for the younger dinosaur enthusiast. The illustrations are fantastic. Some of the scientific arguments regarding Maximum Triceratops are a bit thin (Andre the Giant?)but still really fun to read.

The thing I really liked abouit this book is the fact that it celebrates the non-carnivore. My favorite dinosaur has always been the triceratops, mainly for the reason that it was the only, in my opinion, dinosaur that would stand up to a T. Rex. Sure there were other dinosaurs that could withstand a carnivore relying on "passive" defense (shear size, armor plates, spiked or clubbed tail) but the Triceratops is the only one who would stand up and take on the blood-soaked, mindless eating machines face to face.

If you like Ceratopsians as much as I do, you will really like this book. The one thing I would like to see is more story-telling (like in Raptor Red).
