Summary: A great first reader book.
Review: We love the Mercer Meyer books, and their cute illustrations. This story is too cute about a "Little Critter" who is bored and has no one to play with. It goes on to show what he does instead. There ends up being plenty of fun things to do. The expressions on the faces of the characters in this story, down to the spider and mouse, are just too cute!
What surprised me about this book, is that there are 6 pages in the back that help a child to learn even more. It encourages reading comprehension, and little exercises to stimulate the mind. There is a great note to parents on the first page, in helping your child to become a successful reader.
