Summary: Great, but not like the others
Review: My 4 year old daughter loves this book, but I can tell by the number of requests to read it that she doesn't love it as much a Rolie Polie Olie and Snowie Rolie. It just doesn't have the same appeal to her. Maybe it's because it lacks the "catchy" rhymes of the other two or it's the story. Who really knows what goes on in the mind of a four year old. Anyway, anything with Olie and Zowie is a winner, but just don't expect a book like Rolie Polie Olie or Snowie Rolie.

Summary: My 9-month old loves it!
Review: My 9-month old daughter delights in all things Rolie Polie. I've been reading the original Rolie Polie Olie book to her each night and she loves this one just as much. She will reach for this book over most others. The rhymes are fun and catchy and keep mom and dad from getting bored reading it over and over and over..... The story leaves out details (like how a collection of fun items can become a "ray-gun") but it's the silliness and nonsense that appeals to kids. The pictures are colorful, bright and vivid. I feel it's definately worth the money!

Review: My son (2 years old) Loves Olie, and this book is a great bedtime ritual companion. Great art, neat story. If you like William Joyce do check out Bentleys' Egg by same.

Summary: Fantastic pictures!
Review: My unborn baby received three Olie books for Christmas last year. Since this was my first child I had no idea who Olie was - and I have to admit that when I read the books I thought they were strange. The rhymes are fun, but a little forced in places. But my daughter loves the pictures! She is only 12 weeks old, but when I read this book to her she is mesmorized by the pictures. When I open it in front of her she smiles her biggest smile and starts kicking her feet. I would have to recommend it just based on the great illustrations. We also like the original "Rolie Polie Olie," but are not as impressed with the "Big Time Olie," since it doesn't rhyme at all.

Review: This is a really good book! This book is about how pappy (olies grandfather) brakes his happy screw. Now its up to olie and the rest of his family to help pappy be happy again. It teaches young kids how to rhyme along with the characters and just plain have fun! I think this book is for ages 2 and up cause it even brings a happy face to a 12 year old!
