Rating: Summary: My son loves this book! Review: My 16 month old has loved this book since he was 9 months old. It's colorful, stands up to abuse (pages are thick), and lifting the flaps for peekaboo delights him to giggles. He picks this one out every night before bed.
Rating: Summary: Absolute must have!! A favorite at our house! Review: My son received this book as a gift for his first Christmas and has loved it ever since. It says it's for 18 month olds, but we started reading it when my son was 8 months old. He's now almost 3 and still loves it. My son is also autistic and I would highly recommend this book for parents of autistic or developmentally delayed children. The story is very attention-grabbing and the flaps provide the anticipation needed to stimulate spontaneous speech. Great book!
Rating: Summary: A great flap book! Review: This is my 11 month old daughter's favorite book, and it has been for 2 months running. The illustrations are very bright and colorful, and the flaps are large and sturdy enough to stand up to much bending and grabbing. The book is suitable for younger babies who like flaps and animals, and there is a more complex storyline to entertain older toddlers.
Rating: Summary: Great book - not just for the age limit. Review: We received this when my son was 15 months and he has loved it since. Initially, he just loved to lift the flaps, and it has handled his roughness. With the great pictures, we also use it to ask him to find an animal on a given page or within the whole book.
