Summary: Stupendous story about a very nice witch!
Review: I cannot say enough about this story. The way the author writes his poems, combined with the glorious pictures is wonderful. My two daughters have been so excited about this book, they argue about who will get to read it in bed.It is a wonderful tale about a nice witch, who is not beautiful outwardly, but on the inside. She makes wonderful pies for the Trick-or-Treaters on Halloween. Her house is the last stop at midnight for some excellent pie and cider. We highly recommend this book to any "Halloween lovers"...

Summary: I Loved It, And I'm Not Even A Kid!
Review: I have been obsessed with anything Halloween since the day I was born, I think. When I saw this book, I flipped out! The illustrations remind me of everything I love about Halloween and the Autumn season. The story makes me want to be an old lady in a falling-apart house on Halloween, and my nephew loved it! I would highly reccomend it.

Review: This book was given to my two-year old son, from his Grandma, for Halloween. It is a little advanced for him right now, but he LOVES the wonderful pictures in it. They are truly fantastic! I point out different things to him and explain what certain things are.
It's really excellent and I know this book will become a Halloween Tradition. After reading it, you feel you've just read something very special. You won't be disappointed!
UPDATE: Son is now 4 yrs old and STILL loves this book more than any other in his library. We read it year-round! This book is a treasure.

Summary: Beautiful book!
Review: This is the best Halloween book I have seen! For the past several years I have read this book to my daughter's class at school and bring along pumpkin pies and spider rings for the kids! The book has a very positive message and it is beautifully illustrated!!!!
