Review: What a fun book for the holidays! This is a terrific read-aloud, with great rhythm and rhyme. I have already used it in storytimes with large groups of little ones, and you can hear a pin drop when I read it - the sign of a sure-fire hit with kids. I totally disagree with the "grinch-ish" review that says the book falls flat. I read picture books all the time (it's my job!) and both text and art in this one are exceptionally well done - a real kid-pleaser. Whether for laptime or storytime, I highly suggest this one. It's a winner!
