Review: I have been a volunteer in a reading program and have been reading to a second grader for the past year. We stumbled onto this book a month or so ago and it has become his favorite. We've read it dozens of times and he never seems to tire of it. It has wonderful colorful and entertaining lift tabs which reveal "scarey" creatures. It is also educational in that it teaches the alphabet, shapes and colors. Its hard cover with thick pages will last through many readings and lifting of tabs.
