Summary: NL-S Approved Book
Review: Bill Wallace's book, Snot Stew, is a very funny, and energizing children's book. It's about two kittens named, Toby and Kikki, who are adopted by a boy and a girl. This book is the best childrens book I have ever read. It is easy to read and extremely funny. The book is written from the kittens' point of view which makes the book even more interesting. The adventures the two kittens go on will have you rolling on the floor. The part of the book I liked the best was when the boy and the girl were fighting over something, and they were yelling at each other "Is not!" "Is too!" "Isnot!" "Istoo!" "Snot!" "Stew!"

The major conflict was when the kittens got out of the fence, and the neighbor dog, Butch, a cat eating dog, almost ate them. Toby and Kikki were lucky enough to get away before the dog ate them.

I can't really relate to the kittens, but I can relate to the girl. I can understand how she gets into conflicts with her brother. I get into conflicts with my sisters all the time. I also have a dog that is very protective of his territory. If any other dog comes on my yard he barks and creates a ruckus. In that way I can relate to Butch, the dog in the book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recomend it to everyone

Summary: It's not stew!
Review: I read this book in 3rd grade ... and i still enjoy it. It's about a family of kittens that get broken apart and the two left behind get adopted by two parents and two children. The two children fight a lot and call each other snot stew. That's how the book got it's name.

Summary: Snot Stew is not about snot
Review: Snot Stew by Bill Wallace Don't let the name fool you, because it starts when 5 kitten are born. the owner decides to sell the mother and 3 of the kittens. Then ge gives 2 of the kittens to his boy and gir. The story is told from a kitten's point of view. The kittens get to teasing a dog by saying "fatty, fatty, 2 by 4 can't get throught the bathroom door, so he did it on the floor," and they get to liking stew. One day a kitten got fat and couldn't beat the dog and he got his tail chewed off. I recommend this because it's good and it's funny.

Summary: Tody and Kikki are awsome cats!
Review: Would you like to read about two kittens who love to eat and play? If so you should think about reading Snot Stew by Bill Wallace. The book Snot Stew is set on a farm. It tells how two kittens Toby and Kikki learn about people stuff and about food and games, especially snot stew. The two kittens sometimes also get into some spills. Join Toby and Kikki throughout their troubles.
I liked this book because I like stories about animals and also I liked it because it was somewhat suspenseful. I think this book is a great book but I think it would be aimed for young audiences. If you don't mind kiddy books, then I think you will enjoy it.
