Review: My boys (6 and 8) and I loved the newest Peef book -- that warm-hearted multi-colored bear they love so well continues his adventures in this tale. This time, Peef has to deal with school, new friends, disappointment, and forgiveness -- quite a load for anyone, but because Peef has the great big heart (and "peef" squeak) that he does, he's equal to the task. The lively colors and clever drawings throughout -- including animated dinosaur bushes -- kept my kids enchanted. They also liked the rhyming language that makes the book flow along well. So if you're looking for a book -- birthday, Christmas, start of school, or pleasure -- that helps kids express feelings they may not be able to verbalize, this Peef book helps. My six-year-old pointed to one of the pictures and exclaimed, "That's what happened to me!" You'll get some great conversations started at your house after you read this book to your kids.
