Review: My 2 and 3 year old recieved this as a gift and it has now become a staple in our gift giving for new babies, teachers and high school and college graduation. I found the book inspiring on more than one level. My children love it for all the illustrations and I love it for the deeper meaning. I am writing this review as I am about to purchase my 14th copy to give as a graduation gift.

Review: This is a beatifully written book with wonderful illistations. I was looking for a book to give to 44 fifth grade students just finishing elementary school about to enter middle school. This book tells of simple pleasures in life that have deep life meaning lessons.I particularly liked the page that says "Apples taught me that there is a star within each of us".It is a book for all ages. This book gives exactly the message we were looking for, to believe in yourself, be kind to one another, to look on the bright side and embrace change. I loved this book. Now I just hope the Parent Teacher Organization has the funds to buy 44 copies!
