Rating: Summary: An obvious talent! Review: Although I am not Catholic, I was still intrigued by this book because I knew its author is the same woman who writes the weekly column "Read and Play" for the Boston Herald. Ms. Galvin is full of energy, creativity, and clearly experienced when it comes to relating to children. My philosophy as a parent is to expose my child to many different religions and let him pick the one that most makes sense to him--if he opts to choose one.I look forward to more publications by this author.
Rating: Summary: Wonderful, fun and whimsical! Review: If you're looking for a book that teaches important lessons yet has a light, whimsical fun style, this book is the one to choose! Ms. Galvin has a deft hand with the artwork and her activities are wonderful for making learning fun. My kids loved the book and enjoyed both the artwork and the activities!
Rating: Summary: Delightful book! Review: This book is wonderful! The activities are fun and have a surprising amount of variety to them. They'll keep my kids busy for HOURS AND HOURS! :-) Definitely a smart investment for parents who like to bring coloring books to church, or even for teachers. The activity sheets are reproducible. I also have to comment on the drawings--they are ADORABLE!
