Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great for nursing toddlers.
Review: These books are absolutely darling, and my sixteen month old adores them. Each book is ten pages long, and shows realistic drawings of the animal with a simple sentence about its life. Seven of the ten books are about mammals. Of those, six show the animals nursing with the sentence, "Foals drink milk from their mothers". My daughter loves to see other baby animals nursing, so greatly enjoys these parts of the book. The publishing company is from South Africa, so I guess that is why they show so much nursing.

I also appreciated the realism of this book. My daughter gets to pet farm animals on a regular basis, so she is easily able to recognize these animals and tries to speak their names.
