Summary: Mrs. Mustard's Baby Faces
Review: At 9 months of age, my grandson definitely had opinions about his favorite books and this was certainly at or near the top of the list. If you picked up a book he didn't like, he would bat at it and look in the direction of other nearby books. When "Baby Faces" was selected, he would sit calmly as long as it was being read to him and even "talk" to the babies. We have several precious picture of him sitting on the floor with the book folded accordion style and "playing" with the book, trying to "turn" the pages and "talking" to the babies pictured. The book went everywhere with him and somewhere, we lost it. So we are now ordering a 2nd copy.

Summary: Worth its weight in gold
Review: For about 5 dollars, this book is worth every penny, and makes a great inexpensive gift for a first birthday, or first Christmas. My son loved this book, and actually learned the words "happy" and "sad" from it. It's accordian style, but we read it like a regular book, turning the pages and saying "happy" or "sad" (with feeling!) depending on the baby's expression. Since it's accordian-style, it keeps turning itself over and you can turn the pages endlessly....(sorta hard to explain, but if you get it, you'll see what I mean.)

At 3 1/2, my son still loves this book, now that we are "reading" it to his baby sister. Pure and simple fun!

Review: I bought this when my son was first born and I would "read" it to him. He really enjoyed looking at all the babies. When he was older, about 8-9 months, he started picking it up himself. He could easily flip through the pictures because of it's accordion format and he loved going over and over each picture (especially the happy faces). This became THE book that always went with us in the diaper bag, on a car trip, and in the grocery cart. At 16 months he is still enjoying it!
