Review: Doodlebug is a heart warming story for young readers about a young girl who dreams of buying her own wonderful black stallion but takes pity on a neglected small black pony at a stock-sale. There are wonderful pictures of "before and after" of the neglected pony named "Doodlebug" and Irene Brady is a very talented artist. Her pictures are a delight. Adults will enjoy it too.

Review: I had this book when I was a kid and over the years it got misplaced. I have recently bought a copy for my daughter and I to enjoy and another for my friend and her daughter.

Great story, great art!
