Summary: The Day Everything Tasted Like Broccoli
Review: How could this be? A boy, Max Silver with maximum powers?

Max Silver is no ordinary boy! He has super powers. In this adventure, an evil villian named the Tastemaker invents a Brain Poacher machine. First the Tastemaker makes everything taste like broccoli. Then after being defeated by Maximum Boy (Max with super powers) he makes everything taste like cough medicine! With the help of Tortoise Man (another super hero) will Max defeat the Tastemaker, or will they become food? Find out in THE DAY EVERYTHING TASTED LIKE BROCCOLI.

This funny book is great for anyone who wants to get a laugh or who likes an adventure story. This interesting book will make you feel as though you have maximum powers too! So, if you sometimes feel like you want to be a super hero this is the book for you!

If you want to find out if Maximum Boy or Tortoise Man became food, or saved the day read THE DAY EVERYTHING TASTED LIKE BROCCOLI.

Review: Max Silver has managed to keep his real identity a secret, but almost everyone knows who Maximum Boy is. Now the President has called on Max to help with a baffling case that has everyone reaching for toothpaste and octopus! An evil fiend has made all food taste like broccoli - and only Maximum Boy can stop him. Somehow Maximum Boy has to figure out who it is and stop them before the whole world is affected.

Dan Greenburg has made an okay start with this series, but he could have done much better. This series reminds me of the Captain Underpants books, but this book is for a younger age group. This series could get boring rather quickly because they all seem kind of the same, but I have to admit that I thought it was really cool that Maximum boy is allergic to math problems and dairy products. There are cool villains and other super heroes to make the stories more interesting, but Greenburg is not as funny as he thinks he is.

Maximum Boy to the rescue!
Maximum Boy, an eleven year old super hero had just been talking on the phone with the president about another mission: people around the world have lost their ability to taste.
Everything but toothpaste and octopus tastes like steamed broccoli.
The President told Maximum Boy that someone called the Tastemaker was doing this. As soon as Maximum Boy arrived at the Tastemaker`s mansion, he found out that the Tastemaker was using a special machine to control people`s taste. Maximum Boy
Destroyed the machine and left.
Will the Tastemaker earn revenge? Read the book and find out.
I recommend this book to people that like to read about adventure, action and distraction,( like me ). I hope you have a lot of fun when you read the book!

Review: My son loved this book. He thought the story was creative and fun. An evil villain makes everything taste like broccoli. It was so good he stayed up until 10:30 reading it - and I was thrilled to let him stay up past his bedtime to read a good book!
