Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Worth reading
Review: My daughter, who is a reluctant reader, has enjoyed this book very much. It is easy enough for her to read, and entertaining enough (and silly enough) to be worth the effort. We got it from the library, but she likes it enough to want her own copy.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Droll Trolls, Silly Stuff!
Review: This is a wonderful collection of three short stories. The first is a riff on a classic Cheech and Chong (or Abbott and Costello, depending on your generation), "'Come here, Tuck.' Said Nip." "'I am here,' called Tuck from the other room," and "But where am I" "You are There." Where is There?" "There is not Here." Funny surprise ending: Nip forgets why he wanted Tuck "here." The second story ("Ice is Nice") is about inadvertent and on-purpose rhyming, and the last story is a droll troll (that was on purpose) tale about how Nip and Tuck are (mis) guided by a clock stuck on five. This excellent, colorful book for early readers (48 illustrated pages with a few lines per page) has wry humor that may be appreciated by adults, as well as delightfully silly dialogue. Highly recommended.
