Rating: Summary: Paige Dixon = Barbara Corcoran Review: I had no idea that Paige Dixon and Barbara Corcoran were one and the same. I devoured Corcoran's books when I was twelve--there was a 6-book limit at the children's library, but when I could prove that I had read them all, after three days, they let me take out more.I read Barbara Corcoran's books when I was twelve. I found this book a few years later, when I had a friend who had ALS. Now I'm 44, and have been hunting down some of my favorite YA books. I was pleased to find this one at ABS books. I gave it to my husband to read. He got tearful at the end, just as I did.
Rating: Summary: May I Cross Your Golden River? Review: I read this book when I a freshman in high school and it was recommended to me by my literature instructor. I can't forget the emotions this story managed to stir within me, and especially at such a young age and dealing with such a topic of tragedy, death, triumph, and strength. I am still searching for a copy of this book today so that I may have it in my personal library. A must read!
