Summary: Tally Ho Pinkerton is terrific!!
Review: My family first learned of "Pinkerton the big, clumsy Great Dane dog", while standing in line to sign up on a waiting list for another children's book title by Mr. Kellogg at our public library...we were enthusiastically informed by the younger folks in line that "Pinkerton rules!" So we put our names in for the same book also. We eventually loved reading it together so much, that we bought the hard cover copy for our home. Now that we have our first grandchild, we can start another generation on "Pinkerton Mania"!! Of all the Pinkerton books, and we love them all...this one is our favorite!

Review: This book is about Steven Kellogg's dog, Pinkerton, who goes on a picnic which turns into a strange hunting trip. The illustrations are terrific and help to make the story come alive. This is one of the best of the Pinkerton books.Trust me, I have read the books!!! If you are looking for a book to make you laugh, you will really like this book.
