Summary: my favorite spanish book
Review: I have never, ever read the English version of this book, but I've read the Spanish one. It is a very funny story about a smart girl named Matilda whose parents don't understand her. The school principal hates everyone, and then Matilda meets a teacher she really likes. She ends up trying to save the teacher's job. Overall this book was very good. I've never read the English version of it--only the Spanish version--but I've heard that Roald Dahl is very funny. If so, this book does the English version justice--it is laugh out loud funny and is one of my favorite Spanish books.
