Review: This is a wonderful beginning chapter book for second-graders. We read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl as a read-aloud to second-graders at my school. This book is a great companion for more independent readers who enjoyed Charlie.... It teaches a valuable lesson about telling the truth and being honest while sharing an enjoyable story about a teacher who "re-creates" the chance at finding 5 golden tickets in some candy bars.
