Summary: my daughter loves it!
Review: I came across this book over a book sale, along with'moosey moose' and 'goosey goose'. My daughter is only one and a half years old and i'm surprised that she loves these books. She never gets tire of them. I'm not sure if she understands what am I reading, but she seems to enjoy the rhythm and the sound of the words. Snaily snail is her favorite so far, I highly recommend this book for a joyful reading time.

Summary: We Love You Snaily Snail
Review: UPDATED 12/17/2003: My "6" year old turned 9 yesterday... and the Thingy Thing books are the ones still on top of her dresser. Now there are "Dear America" grown-up chapter books in her collection too, but hands down, when everybody wants comfy-cozy reading with mommy, these are STILL the books we turn to... only the girls read them to ME now. :)

My 3 and 6 year old daughters never tire of this one... we have 4 in the series, which we always read in one sitting at bedtime, but we always save the "best" for last! The sweet drawings accompany lovely verse that my older daughter "reads" and the little one recites from memory. I love the simple theme of loving each other all the time, together or apart...particularly important as a divorced, working mom! We also adore "Doggy Dog", "Goosey Goose" and "Lamby Lamb"... and are now ordering the last four "Thingy Things" volumes... but I say, start with "Snaily Snail"... We Love You, Snaily Snail!
