Review: I would not buy this book as just another addition to your library or as a fun Pooh book. It deals mainly with issues of childhood anxieties, and if these are not already problems for your child, they may become so. I've found that sometimes books or television shows produce problems when nominally they propose to help. Our toddler was not afraid of monsters and didn't dislike vegetables until he saw these problems in fictional characters.

That said, if your child DOES have anxieties about their first day of school, visiting the doctor or nightmares, these stories featuring familiar characters can be comforting and give you the vocabulary to help your child.

Review: This was a perfect start to my daughters collection of winnie the pooh stories. It has pleasant illustrations and the stories were easy enough for her to understand. Perfect for preschoolers.
