Review: I have been a children's librarian for 11 years. I use this book every year during National Children's Book Week. I read it to Preschoolers through 2nd graders. Every year I ask students to write down their favorite book. This one wins in a landslide! PLEASE REPRINT IT!!!!!! I have people who want to buy it for their kids and it's out of print. If you want a sure hit, with students or children of your own, try to get a copy of this book.

Summary: Unique, creative, exciting, and absorbing!
Review: I wish this book was still in print -- I'd love to buy many copies for friends. I found it very unique among any other children's books I've read because of how it is read and its very fun and unsual ending! My 2-year old absolutely loves it, as does my 6-year old nephew (so the book can appeal to quite an age range). The tension builds as you read through the book in a whisper... Trying to make your way through the giant's castle without waking him! The tension builds to an exciting finish that suddenly brings you back to reality and breaks the tension in a delightful way! I HIGHLY recommend this book!

Review: It's a shame this book is now out of print. I found it to be an entertaining way to reinforce the sounds my son was practicing in speech therapy. Since we were working on "sh" sound, we could read this book out loud with him saying the "Shhh!" part on every page. He never realized he was actually working!

Review: My 2 year old daughter absolutely adored this book borrowed from our library. She called it 'the giants eye ' book , and the excitement would mount for her as we read through to the end. She could also read it herself by memory!Fantastic book.

Review: This cover of this book grabs the attention of children and holds it through the last page. It is so realistic they often cover their eyes or duck when pages are turned! The story line is great and the drawings intriguing! Suitable for preschoolers through primary grades. Wish it could be reprinted!!! As a former teacher of preschoolers and a grandmother, I highly recommend it!

Review: Wow!! I am a Pre-K teacher and this is one of my classes favorites. I wish I could find this book somewhere. I borrow it from the library over and over. As soon as I return it, all my students beg for the book again and again. We even have made our on Shhh! book, but it's not the same. They love to see that eye looking at them. What great squeals of delight. Now I'm pregnant with my first child and I would love to have this book in my collection. Boo, hoo I can't find it anywhere. So it will be off to the library.
