Rating: Summary: Even works in German! Review: I recently checked this book out in a German language version for my 13 month old daughter. I know just enough German to be able to pronounce (most of) the words correctly, and thought it would be interesting for her to hear a different language. And despite the obvious barrier, this is easily her favorite book! She laughs every time the boy or monster shouts out: "Papa! Papa! In meinem Bett ist ein Ungeheuer!" (Papa! Papa! There's a monster in my bed!). And I enjoy trying to say centipede pie in German (Tausendfusslerpfotentorte, though my spelling may be a little off) I'm about to order it in English, and can't wait to see what she thinks :)
Rating: Summary: My kids LOVE this book! Review: This is a great book. It's very simple and fun to read. My 6 year old AND my 2 year old repeatedly checked this book out at the library, until we finally bought them a copy of their own.The "monster" in this book is just as endearing as the little boy. Your little ones will love it!

Rating: Summary: WONDERFUL -- much better than Brave Little Monster! Review: We found this book at our local library after our 2-yr. old daughter kept talking and talking about the book "Brave Little Monster" that she had read at school. The library was out of BLM but had PAPA! so we borrowed this book. It is outstanding! Our daughter loves it, my husband loves it and I love it; wonderful, wonderful find. Cute pictures, cute concept. Our daughter enjoys fairly long books, but this one has only a few sentences per page. No problem -- we actually find it leaves more to our imagination.
