Summary: Horrible Book From a Horrible Sport
Review: Figure skating is one of the most pointless sports I know. (if you can call it a sport). And from one of figure skating's most pompous and irritating 'athletes' comes this dumb book. Having grown up in the same area where she did, she misnamed a couple of things, and overall said stupid things. Even though I hate, loathe, detest, despise all figure skating, she is my least favorite. Besides, she had no right to knock some types of music in the book, because that is musical predujice. This is truly the worst book I have ever read.

Summary: Great book from a great champion!
Review: Hard to believe that Michelle is old enough to have an autobiography, but it's a taste of her great record and the hint of promise yet to come. Ignore the troll review below me - if the person isn't a fan of skating, why did he read the book???? Skating champs come and go, but Michelle will be remembered long after she hangs up her skates. Dignified in victory and gracious in "defeat" (since when are Olympic silver and bronze medals a loss????), she exemplifies the word "Champion" both on and off the ice. A must-have for Michelle's fans and for fans of the sport.

Summary: Fantastic Book!
Review: I loved reading Michelle Kwan's autobiography. I found it to be very imformative, and I learned even more about this very talented figure skater. It was a great book, and it was so cool to find out about Michelle's first competitions, when she first started skating, her feelings about the sport, and her 1998 Olympic story. Another cool thing about this book was that you could flip the pages and see Michelle Kwan do a triple Lutz. It was cool! I would reccomend this book to any fan of figure skating or Michelle Kwan. Excellent book!

Summary: Michelle Kwan
Review: In this book it shows Michelle's life as it goes up and down. She takes us inside her life showing what it's like to be a teenage skater. It's not easy! As she wins more competitions she shines out more and more. Suddenly, the pressure is almost unbearable. Watch her as she falls and gets up again even better then she was before! This book is one you definitely don't want to miss!

Summary: One of My Heroes
Review: Michelle Kwan was fascinated by how her big sister, Karen glided on the ice. Then, she started to skate and became one of the best. Unfortunately, her family sometimes did not have enough money for Michelle and Karen's coaches. Later she met Frank, a skilled and experienced coach.

Summary: One Who Always Shows Her Best
Review: Michelle's big sister, Karen inspired Michelle to glide and dance on the ice. As a result, Michelle made her final alternative to become a skater. Unfortunately, her parents sometimes did not have enough money for their coach. Later on, they found Frank, an experienced coach who saw the sparks in Michelle's skating. Throughout her life, she won medals from competitions, learning from mistakes. Also, she went through problems as well as hovial times. In the end, she tells that skating is her heart, not her head.

Ever since 1997, Michelle Kwan has been one of my heroes and once made me want to become a skater when I grow up. Well, that didn't last too long. Yet, when I saw her in the Olympics, she looked very kind and strong. Even though the gold medal was given to Tara Lipinski, she smiled and congratulated her opponent. Michelle is not only liked by me but by countless people. As a result, I bought this book and fell in love with it. I've never fell in love with something that I would never get tired of, but Michelle always loved skating and always will.

Every part of this book kept me going, but my favorite part has to be when Michelle was little and looked up to skaters notorious back then. Now, she is looked up to by young skaters. Also, I liked the pictures of her young age to her present. She always has a smile on her face in the pictures. In addition, I loved the part where she exactly explains her performance bit by bit. Those performances make my heart jump like a grasshopper. Truly, I would recommend this book to any skaters or Michelle Kwan lovers.
