Summary: Darling, cozy, beautiful rainy day book!
Review: I usually restrict my purchases to the most classic, well-loved children's books, but when I saw this one, I couldn't resist, and I love it already, and am sure that children will, too.

The book follows a little girl through all the cozy pleasures of a rainy day like puddles, a raincoat and hat, soaking in a nice warm tub, cocoa with marshmallows... all with bright, beautiful illustrations, and a counting lesson to boot! I've always loved and appreciated the coziness of rainy days, and with this perfect book, I'll be able to share that feeling with my children. I can't wait!

Summary: Beautiful book, fun story
Review: My daughter is 18 months and will sit several times a day for a half hour at a time with this book. The illustrations are colorful. The prose has great rhythm to it as well. She loves to pick out all of the animals in the story. The book counts up to 10 and back down, following a little girl and her dog through a rainy day.
