Summary: We love it!
Review: Humorous, easy rhymes and beautiful illustrations make this book an exceptional one for pre-school age through early readers. My son loves the rhymes and silly sleeping situations of the bunnies, and I never tire of the illustrations. We have read this book many, many times; first a copy from the library, and then our own edition. It would be a great addition to your own library, or a thoughtful and appreciatd gift for someone else.

Summary: A Rhyming, ABC And Counting Board Book!
Review: I love this book and the illustrations are beautiful! But the book does not end there, it contains counting, the alphabet AND rhyming!

Here in Florida one of the tasks Kindergarten children should know how to do before going on to 1st grade is to be able to rhyme! And one of the easiest ways to start is to rhyming with the child's own name!

I also like that this mother did know what do to do with her children and seems much happier than the Old Lady in the Shoe ever was or felt!

Summary: One that I'll keep with other treasures from baby-time
Review: I love this book. I teach kindergarten in a public school and this book is a must read. The book reviews letters, numbers to 26, and rhyming words. Learning to identify words that rhyme are difficult for many kindergartners, but this book makes it easy, and fun. The flow of the language makes it natural for the kids to choral read with me. The pictures are wonderful, too. Definitely not too "cutesy" for the kindergarten set.

Summary: Another wonderful bunny book
Review: Rick Walton's 'So Many Bunnies...' book is simple and clever. It has already become one of my daughters' favorite books. The simple but multi-purpose story combined with the lovely detailed illustrations keep the girls finding new things every time it's read to them or by them.

Summary: Delightful!
Review: This book was a gift for my 4 year old daughter. I had to read it every night for almost 2 months! Then she had it memorized and she "read" it to me. She loved "Kate" who slept on the gate and would go bunny-by-bunny and find them on the last pages. An excellent choice for a 3 or 4 year old.

Summary: A wonderful book
Review: This is one of my daughter's books that I don't mind reading over and over again. At four, she's memorized the story, and at bedtime I'll read the bunny's names ("1 was named Abel...") and she'll supply where they sleep ("...he slept on the table."). She loves the rhymes, and the rhythm is lovely and even--making it good for bedtime story reading! This has also led to a great game: when we're in the car or I need something to occupy her, I can give her the bunny's names, and she'll tell me where they sleep.

The illustrations are very nice, and I like that all the bunnies appear together with their Mom at the end; we enjoy looking for the various bunnies there.

Highly recommended!

Summary: Put This In Somebody's Easter Basket
Review: This is such a clever, well-illustrated picture book that teaches counting, ABCs and rhyming in a delightful,warm-hearted way. Using the familiar foundation of the old nursey rhyme about the old woman in the shoe, this story tells us about Old Mother Rabbit who has 26 children and knows just what to do. She gives them some carrots and broth and some bread and kisses them gently and puts them to bed. The bunnies all have special places to sleep and this book has a lot of charming stimulating pictures for little ones to explore as they're learning to count and say the ABCs. It's so cute and well done and little pre-schoolers are sure to enjoy it. Since most little ones like to have their stories read over and over, parents will welcome this book's detailed pictures and clever rhymes that make the book as fun to read aloud as it is to hear it read.

Summary: One that I'll keep with other treasures from baby-time
Review: This large size book captivates with detailed, gloriously colored illustrations and a story my children love. Mama Bunny puts each of her 26 children to bed, each baby bunny named with a successive letter of the alphabet and corresponding number "1 was named Abel, he slept on the table. 2 was named Blair, she slept on the chair". My children have memorized the book and can "read" it with me -- it has helped me teach them numbers beyond 10 as well. My kids giggle with delight when I incorporate their names in the book and make up silly rhymes to go with it. This book will definitely go in my keepsake chest among our most precious memories of these early years.
