Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great way to learn how to make colors
Review: My kids really like this book. We bought it for the 3 year old but the 7 year old likes it too. It has an interesting rhyming story that includes repetition and humor; great for preschoolers. Each page suggests you make several colors by sliding the three different colors to mix up a new color. The kids don't realize it but they are learning how to make green, orange, brown, pink, and purple using red, blue and yellow. I give this book four stars because the colors aren't as bright on the slide as I would like (I am sure that was a hard thing to do anyway) and the pages don't lay perfectly flat on the color slide making it possible that my very active preschooler might bend up a page too much. I think this book was a very worthwhile purchase for our home library.
