Summary: Short entertaining flap book - bilingual. Great for babies
Review: My 8-month old loves this book. In traditional Chinese and English, this book is about Peter tasting several foods at his party -- popsicle, lemon, potato chips, burger, doughnut, milkshake. It's a flap book, so he starts by saying he tastes something cold and icy. When you flip the flap, it reveals he is tasting a popsicle. "Brrr! That's chilly" At the end, Peter eats so much, that he burps. "Pardon me!" My son wants me to read it to him over and over. While it's not a board book, I like it because the pages are thick cardboard-like material, so it's not something where my son can rip or wrinkle the pages easily. It's also very colorful and the pictures are simple enough too. My only complaint is that the written Chinese is in traditional, I wish it were in simplified text. A great book!
