Summary: Best Childhood Reading Memories!!!
Review: I absolutely adored this series of books and now I want copies more than ever. I don't remember how I ended up with the whole series but they were by far my most loved and abused books as a kid. In the spirit of sharing the wealth (much to my own protests) my mother gave my collection to a younger relative when she thought I had outgrown them. I'm sure the relative enjoyed them as much as I did but I thought she should have found her own set and left mine alone! I hope that these delightful stories will be reprinted. I desperately want to collect the set so that I can enjoy the series from a parents' perspective when I have children. To anyone who is lucky enough to have copies of these treasures, by all means hold on to them, they're worth it!

Summary: Timeless favorite!
Review: I am 32 years old and my brother is 28. We loved the Sweet Pickles books while growing up! Luckily my mother saved the few books in the series that we actually owned. Now my 2 year old daughter is in love with "Me too Iguana!".

These books are simple, easy to relate to and the topics are timeless and totally applicable to young kids today.

I can only hope that some innocent fool will let go of thier kids set at a garage sale and I will be there to snag them for my daughter to treasure in her own book collection.

Summary: The Sweet Pickles books are my absolute favorites!
Review: I am a 23 year old teacher and I have been searching desperately for a collection of these books. Most of my set was lost in a flood. I have "Nuts to Nightengale" and "Enormous Elephant," but would really like to acquire the rest of the series! When I was 7, I built the town of Sweet Pickles out of clay and used finger puppets to act out the stories. I would love for my children to have the opportunity to experience these wonderful books.

Review: I am dying to get my hands on the Sweet Pickles series - any and all of them! I read these when I was young and loved them and I love them even more now! Unfortunately, they have been lost over the years. As an adult, I realize how ingenious these books were and I would love to have them to show my own childen someday. Summary: What happened to "Sweet Pickles"!
Review: I can't believe I can't find any "Sweet Pickles" books! My favorite thing as a child was to look at the map at the front of the book that showed the city and where every animal lived - and the pictures of the animals in alphabetical order! I love these books! I am going to have my first child and I wish I could find these books for him!

Review: Ok! Like everyone else who has written a review here, I had this series as a child and they have been lost over the years. I came across a set in college that my professor of Psychology of Personality had and used in class. Very fitting I might add. I would love to be able to share these wonderful books about feelings with my own children. Maybe if enough of us write in and cry and beg we can get someone to bring them back. They really are a wonderful teaching set of books and I would love to have a set for my own children like I said before. PLEASE HELP ME FIND ONE! Thank you very much.

Review: We are having an Arts and Humanities fair in our school district. Our high school kids read to the preschoolers on our campus. We also have a science room with an iguana and we want to bring our iguana Iggy to the fair and we wanted a book to read to the children. I remembered the Sweet Pickles books I read to my daughter, she is now 23. We loved those books. This is the perfect book about an iguana and I hope all the children at the fair will enjoy it as much as my daughter and I did years ago. Recommend it and all the Sweet Pickles Books. T
