Review: I bought a set of these three bilingual (English and Spanish/French/Japanese) books for my niece, aged three and a half. She's not quite reading yet, but I wanted to expose her to the idea of different languages early. She likes the bold and simple illustrations and the story when it is read to her in English.

Review: I bought the Japanese-English version of this book. The idea was to practice Japanese reading with an easy text. Unfortunately, this is the typical book for the very young so that texts are scarce (and extremely simple) while bold images cover the best part of each page. Fine as a book for small children but not a good choice to practice foreign language reading.
