Summary: Great Reading for the Entire Family
Review: At first glance, one may think this book is just about little league baseball. It is so much more than that, which is why everyone in our family enjoyed it--Mom, Dad, 18-year old daughter and 13-year old son. Life can be difficult sometimes, especially through the eyes of a boy becoming a young man. Like baseball, life throws us curves along the way. It's great when a wonderfully written book is not only entertaining, but also shows us and our children that dealing with life's losses, challenges and moral dilemmas just serves to make us stronger and more compassionate people in the long run. That's what this book does...it was a great family experience.

Summary: Great tool for parents
Review: I forgot how difficult it was to be ten years old dealing with school, making friends, sports, bullies and the preasure to perform. Compounded by dealing with life's tragedies can be overwhelming. As a parent trying to arm my child with knowledge and confidence to meet those challenges I welcome tools like this book to develop conversations about character.

The book is well written and uplifting to parents and kids alike.
