Summary: Danger is warning Mandie the Ranger
Review: "Mandie and the Windmill's Message" is a good book. In it Mandie, Celia, Mandie's best friend, and Jonathan Lindall Guyer the Third are still traveling with Mandie's Grandmother Taft and Senator Morton. Moving on from Belgium to Holland, Mandie has uncovered a mystery. The mysterious windmills have changed signals, and no one can figure it out. Even worse, Jonathan has been accused of a crime. Can Mandie prove that he is innocent? Or will Jonathan be doomed? Read the book to find out what happens! I like the Mandie books a lot, but there is a problem. They're long, and I'm just seven years old!

into it because there wasn't much exitment. There
might have been to other reader's but not so much to me.
Lois Gladys Leppard is a good author but I didn't think
this book was great.

Summary: Mandie and the Windmill's Message (Book 20)
Review: Mandie, Celia, Jonathan, Mrs. Taft, and Senator Morton are touring Europe during the summer, and now they're in Holland. Mandie and her friends are fascinated with the windmills and Dutch culture.
But the windmill near them is acting strangely. The panels are moving as if it was broadcasting some sort of code, and Mandie is convinced that something sinister is up.
And she's not mistaken. Someone tampers with the paints at a china factory, and Mandie wonders if that is connected with the windmill. Or is it?

This book is wonderful. The story line is good, and it had the right mixture of suspense and mystery to make it a truly amazing book.
The part about the china factory is interesting. And the fact that Jonathan disappeared just before the paints were mixed makes it even more page turning. I just had to find out whether or not Jonathan had done it before I could put the book down.
