Rating: Summary: More God Review: A wonderful and inspirational book. Could not put it down once I started. A great source of help for those who are in need of a way out of a lonely or addictive life style. I found this book quite an eye opener when it comes to how those in need of God in their lives might find the help they need. As a Christian, I found this book to be very enlightening.
Rating: Summary: God will be well pleased! Review: As a substance abuse counselor, a teacher in a community college substance abuse track and a Christian, I would think that God would be well pleased by Ms Bovier's work. This book sat on my coffee table for nearly 3 weeks before I opened it this past Friday..........I finished it Sunday afternoon and have already recommended it to several friends, students and peers. Peace, Love, Joy to you.

Rating: Summary: Surprise Review: I went into this book with the expectation of learning more about the Twelve Step program and how it can slowly urge people to a Christian faith. I came out with sooo much more! This author opened her heart so wide, I fell in head first and came out seeing myself in a new light. The recounting of her own soul searching encouraged me to do the same. I learned so much about myself and was challenged in ways I never dreamed. I encourage anyone who seeks to grow spiritually or emotionally to take the challenge that More God presents. It is more than a book. You will feel as though you have taken a journey hand-in-hand with the author and it is a life-changing experience.
Rating: Summary: Comments on "More God" by Connie Bovier Review: Ms Bovier's book is a must read for anyone looking for more of a spiritual nature than the 12 steps provide. It traces her progress from "enlightened agnosticism" within the 12 steps to "More God". It gives her "experience, strength and hope" without proselytizing.
Rating: Summary: More God Lightens The Path! Review: Reading this book was a wonderful experience. I read it one sitting, not really intending to. Once I started I was hooked. Fascinating journey by a terrific writer. Honest, highly enjoyable, thought provoking, loving, tender and very open. I marvel at the author's ability to write of some very painful times in her life with such profound authenticity. I was deeply touched by her honesty and vulnerability. I look forward to more works by Constance Bouvier.

Rating: Summary: More God: From the Twelve Steps into Deeper Faith Review: This book is a "must read" for anyone thinking "Spirituality and "Religion" have the same meaning. As a confirmed Agnostic 17 years ago I found this book truly opened my mind, but most importantly my heart to the concept of the existence of a Supreme Being. Very well written and definately a "page turner"
Rating: Summary: The Road of Faith Review: This book takes us through one woman's journey down an ever-widening road of faith and spirituality. Though the subject is serious, the book has a light touch and a good bit of humor. Well-crafted, well-written.
Rating: Summary: More God: From the Twelve Steps Into Deeper Faith Review: WOW! A friend told me about this book, I feel compelled to do the same. I am completely captivated and in love with this author. Ms. Bovier writes in a delightful, non-threatening, inviting, down to earth, realistic manner-- simply perfect! I can't write this review fast enough. I also can't seem to tell enough people about this book. Seldom, if ever, can I recall a time when I've been so absorbed in a book, this book! I was hooked by the end of page one, completing the entire book-- a rarity for me. Not only did I finish the book, I did so in one-sitting. I stayed awake until 5:00am on a work day; believe me when I say that it was truly worth it. Seldom, if ever, have I been so moved by an author that I "insist" someone purchase & read a particular book. Yet this is exactly what I find myself doing. It's typical for me to say, "You really have to read this book, you're going to want to share it with everyone you know". Subtle suggestions have turned into continued inquiries & knudges... have you finished the book? what did you think? isn't it a rewarding read? fabulous? witty? fun? whom have you told the book? MORE GOD is a book that I feel totally comfortable sharing with absolutely everyone, religious or not. Everyone can relate to this book. Whom among us hasn't at some time questioned their spiritual journey? Whom among us hasn't at some time, had a loved one, self or friend, who needed extra encouragement and possibly wondered about their higher power? I really believe that anyone and everyone should have the opportunity to experience and enjoy this book. People who may not be "readers" will read this book, love it, and recommend it to their circle of influence. If you're like me, before you've completed reading MORE GOD you'll have a huge list of people you can't wait to tell about this book. Maybe like me, you'll find yourself keeping a running list of whom you've given the book to (simply to avoid duplicating your gift to the same person). P.S. I even loaned my copy to a friend, something I do not do. The message of MORE GOD was simply to powerful to sit on my shelf. Read, share, enjoy...
