Rating: Summary: One of the best Christian novals ever written! Review: I read in this book in just a few days. When I started I had a hard time putting it down. As I read this book by Vic Cassizzi, I found myself not only being caught away by its remarkable writting style, but also coming to a greater reality of what might have actually been going on during the time of Elijah's life. This book is not only written with an amazing dedication to Biblical and historical acuracy, but also with a devotion to cultural facts for that time period in history. This is a must read!

Rating: Summary: An Old Yet New Wonderful Story Review: What an exciting novel! The native of North Carolina who wrote this book is obviously a man who believes in God. Each chapter delivers emotion-stirring events and thought-provoking possibilities, some of which are true to the Scriptures and others which the author created. Elijah, the prophet of the Old Testament, battles against the evils of demon worship, child sacrifice, and complete disregard of the authority of God. Intrigue, suspense, courage, love, brotherhood, betrayal, and triumph are all part of the intense story that moved me to tears, made me very angry, and deepened my respect for the prophet Elijah. I highly recommend this book as one you will want to add to your collection and tell your friends about.
Rating: Summary: An interesting perspective on an old story. Review: When I read this book I had to keep going back to see if it was staying within the framework of what the Bible has to say about Elijah, and it was. This novel was a creative development of what might have been the full story of how this account was played out. I found myself caught up in the drama and couldn't wait for the next scenerio, even though I knew the outcome. This was a very creative novel and there was clearly a great deal of research done to make this novel fit into thehistorical context of it's time,of which much might not be known to most readers. I recommend it for Bible and non-Bible readers alike. I hope there's an encore.
