Summary: Educate Yourself
Review: The more you know, the better prepared you are to face the situation. MacLure writes with honesty and conviction and touches the reader with proof of recovery from a brutal disease. This book has shown me that there is definitely hope. Don't give in!

Summary: Not a very good book on bulimia
Review: This is the biography of one woman's experience in a treatment facility. It deals with her personal experiences that may or may not apply to other people suffering from bulimia. It is heavily Christian in tone and one too many mentions of "God" and "Christ" really turned me off. There are better books on this subject that aren't so religious in tone and are more applicable to a greater audience- i.e., more than just Christian news broadcasters in residential bulimia treatment.
