The author shares personal and humorous stories, but keeps it all so practical and helpful that by the end of the book, you have "no more excuses" to get in the way of reading the Bible.

Review: As one who has read through the New Testament, I could not muster the courage to attempt the Old Testament. Certain books would trip me up and hinder me from finishing. After reading Pam Gillaspie's book, "No More Excuses," I found that it is not necessary or even advisable, to read through the Bible in linear fashion. This gives me the motivation I need to get back into reading the Old Testament. Especially helpful were the practical points listed throughout the book as well as the summaries of each of the books of the Bible. Thank you, Pam, for writing a book that busy moms, especially, can use!

Review: If you have had the desire to read the books of the Bible and haven't been sucessful, this book is a must. Pam gives you suggestions and options as to how to accomplish it. She knows the barriers that have prevented us from reaching our goal as she has been there too. She categorizes the books in the Old Testament under Law, History, Poetry/Wisdom Literature and Prophesy and in the New Testament under he Gospels, Epistles (letters) and Prophesy. She tells you if they are easy, moderate or difficult reading which really helped me to decide where I needed to start. She has really motivated me and I know that I will suceed this time. God has blessed her with such wisdom and I am so grateful she has shared it with her readers in such an honest way. It is a book that you will always come back to.

Whether your brand new to personal devotions or been at it a long, long time - this book presents not only the reasons why we need to spend time with Jesus on a daily basis, but also gives practical advice on the "how to's".
It's easy to read and user friendly, especially recommended for the rookie Bible reader!

Review: This book is the best tool I have found for absolutley having "No More Excuses" Our family reads this book everyday and the practical points that are made are so great.. You can read this and know that other people struggle to read the Bible and understand it.. I am at such a better place in my walk with the Lord because I realize God is not going to BARGAIN with me..
I recommend this book to familys and individuals who value their relationship with God and want to see it grow by leaps and bounds..
