Review: In Peaceable Witness Among Muslims offers a timely correction to Christian misperceptions of Islam as a monolithic movement. The focus is on providing the Islamic communities with a Christian presentation and witness that neither denigrates nor alienates Muslim cultural traditions and belief systems, but offers a compassionate affirmation of Christian beliefs appropriate to followers of the Koran. The anecdotal stories are especially illustrative and compelling. Peaceable Witness Among Muslims should be required reading of anyone seeking to bear an effective Christian testament to an Islamic friend or community.
